Patience, I am fully prepared, if not attacked, will not go to any action: BGB Director General
He told reporters after visiting the temporary Rohingya settlement in the remote Unchiparang area of Haiking union of Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar district on Monday afternoon.
Major General Abul Hossain said that the issue of management of Rohingyas has started coming into discipline. The army has started work. They have both manpower and leadership. Very soon everything will come in discipline.
The BGB director general said, the response to Myanmar provocation would have left the Rohingya humanitarian crisis in jeopardy. The Rohingya infiltration rate has decreased slightly, the situation has gradually become calm. They gave us a proposal to negotiate. May be our meeting with them next November.
He also said that the BGB will continue their humanitarian activities. Additional members of BGB have been deployed for humanitarian work. Apart from the BGB, police and RAB are also working so that Rohingyas can not go anywhere else from here.
Abul Hossain said all Rohingya will be taken to Balukhali. The army started work there. Baluchi is a big place, there will be arrangements for everyone to stay.
Earlier, BGB chief spoke to Rohingyas and distributed relief among them. BGB officials of Cox's Bazar, Teknaf and Bandarban were present.
