UNICEF to establish 1300 schools for Rohingya children
Unicef will establish more than 1,300 schools for Rohingya children coming from Myanmar.
Today, a press release has been issued today that UNICEF operates 1,2002 schools for children in temporary Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar and 1500 children are educated.
Unicef plans to bring 15th to 2 million Rohingya children under this program by increasing the periphery in the coming year.
Edward Begiebera, the Bangladesh representative of the organization, said that Rohingya children are much more affected during this narrow period, it is very important that at this time they should be given the opportunity to be educated in their safe and natural environment.
Tithin also said that now they need adequate natural knowledge, so that they can build their future.
These schools offer informal basic education for children between the ages of 4 and 6 years for primary education and 6 to 14 year olds. Each school is run in three shifts and every shift has 35 children's education system.
Schools are being taught in Bengali, English, Math, Burmese, Science and Humanities. Mental counseling is being given to increase the health of the children and their lifelong skills. Distribution of educational materials including books, pen, pencil, color pencil, school bag, among children.
More than a quarter of children from Rohingya who came to Cox's Bazar from Myanmar after August 25 have more than a quarter of them.
