Suu Kyi moves away from Oxford
Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi, criticized for the prosecution of Rohingya, has removed a portrait of Oxford University.
Oxford's St. Hugh College told authorities to place a Japanese paintings on the portrait of Suu Kyi.
A BBC report on Friday said Suu Kyi, a former student at St. Hugh's College, was at the entrance of the main building of the portrait college. It is not clear why his portrait has been removed.
College Public Relations Benjamin Jones said the portrait of Suu Kyi has been moved to a "safe place". There will be a Japanese painter Yoshihiro Takade painting for a while.
Suu Kyi graduated from St. Hew College in 1967. Her husband Michael Aries ever taught the college.
In 1993 Suu Kyi was arrested and gave him an honorary doctorate. He graduated after the release, in 2012, in 2012.
Suu Kyi continues to criticize the Nobel Prize for Winner Prize because it does not take effective steps to stop the violence of Rohingya people worldwide.
United Kingdom's second largest union - Uniceon gave the award last week.
UNISON gave honorary membership in Suu Kyi, a long-term homeowner, through the movement of democracy against the military government in 2005.
