Rohingyas are responsible for the three mistakes of the historians?
Bangladesh has extended their hands to humanity. The whole world is standing beside the Rohingya refugees. Their sorrows are touching us; Killing the soul-mind. However, the ancestors of Rohingyas are responsible for today's extreme adversity, mainly because of their ancestors. The three worst mistakes in their history have pushed the generation of Rohingyas to a catastrophic street. What was wrong?
The first mistake
Myanmar's support for the British during the Second World War, but the Rohingya supported Japan, while supporting Japan. Japan won the war. But after leaving Japan from Myanmar, the Rohingya became one at a time. Since then Myanmar-Rohingya conflict arose. The British once occupied Myanmar's territories. After that they made the list of 139 ethnic groups. Unfortunately, the Rohingyas failed to get to the list.
Second mistake
One year before the liberation (in 1947) the Rohingya were asked to join Myanmar. But they told them to be associated with East Pakistan (Bangladesh). In the following year, on 4 January 1948, Myanmar started its journey on the path of multi-party democracy through independence. At that time the Rohingyas were represented in parliament. Rohingya also used to perform government jobs. But then the then Governor General of Pakistan 'Qayed Azam' Mohammad Ali Jinnah rejected the proposal to include Rohingyas in Pakistan.
Needless to say, if Jinnah would have included Rohingya in Pakistan on that day, then Arakan State would have been of Bangladesh today. Otherwise it could have been another 'Kashmiri'. The biggest mistake in the history of Rohingyas was to divide the country. The one whose debts are risking. Rohingya is a treacherous nation to Myanmar people.
In 1962, when the General Ne Win took over the supremacy of Myanmar in the military coup, the country's journey began to flow in different sectors. Rohingyas came down to the forehead, The voting rights were abolished by canceling their citizenship. Citizens are deprived of rights. From then on, the Myanmar government started denying Rohingya as the people of their country. In the world court Rohingyas were established as 'external' in Myanmar. The Rohingya people are known as 'Kala' by many people in mainland of Myanmar. This manifestation reveals unlimited hatred.
The third mistake
Another historic mistake was made by the Rohingya people when the Pakistani occupation forces jumped on the unarmed Bengalis in 1971 during the great liberation war of Bangladesh. The Rohingya Muslims supported the Pakistani occupation forces. Rohingyas lost the sympathy of the Bengali people After the birth of Bangladesh, the Rohingyas lose loneliness.
Rohingyas started fluttering in the horrendous ocean of history. Myanmar people became known to them as a 'dishonest nation'. In the modern world, behind the scenes, the backward caste has been behind. They have been left out of education, medical, housing facilities, and they are stunned. Because of which the illiteracy rate among the Rohingya is the highest. Many still do not know anything about birth control methods.
Nearly 7 lakhs of Myanmar's 1.4 million Rohingyas are now in Bangladesh. Which is more than the population of Cox's Bazar, Ukhia area. The rest are scattered in Myanmar, Saudi, London, Canada, Malaysia. Rohingyas are now refugees of Bangladesh to swim across this river of history.
